NPF Sports Network is a local broadcast network in Eastern PA that covers High School sports in that region. Early on, the network was focused on local High School Football, which drove the initial design of incorporating the shape of the state of Pennsylvania and a football into the logo. I wanted to play off of the rich legacy of football in Pennsylvania. The font and gold coloring were elements of the brand that conveyed to this new design.

In 2015, the owner was interested in updating the logo of the network to position it more broadly than just football . In 2015, he wanted to make the logo more modern as they were looking to expand and branch out, so we decided to go in a different direction so it’s design would be similar to other broadcast networks.
