Here’s an interesting site that can bring the scope of the BP oil disaster into terms relative to every individual in the USA. The site If It Was My Home enables you to submit your zip code and it will superimpose the size of the oil slick on top of where you live. For example, here is a visual of the slick on top of where I live in NJ. The slick basically goes from south of Philadelphia to the CT/MA border. That’s insane. I’m glad @BPGlobalPR is on the case.
