Over the past few days, we have made some significant progress on the house. Yesterday and today, the "drywall guys/demolition guys" completely stripped both upstairs bathrooms. At present, there is nothing except 2x4's in both the kids bathroom and the master bathroom. Its actually pretty cool. I have some photos that I will post shortly. They were also able to strip out the walls in what will be our walk in closet. From here, we need to have the electrician and the plumber do their magic and then, the "drywall guys" will be back to construct the walls of the bathrooms and the walk in closet.
In addition, we rented a Wallpaper Steamer and I cranked out some serious wallpaper removal. I stripped the entire foyer and half of the kitchen of all their wallpaper. Again, photos to come. I'm taking a few days off next week so hopefully I will be able to finish up the kitchen.

Today, we are getting the interior doors installed on the upstairs bedrooms. We will also get the closet doors installed as well. Then we will begin painting the rooms this weekend. We found a contractor to remove the old bathrooms upstairs and then do the drywall for both rooms once the plumbing, vanity, and other stuff is done on the bathrooms. Both of us feel that we are finally making some progress towards getting things renovated so we can move in really soon.

Today, we had our new interior doors delivered to the house. We have a contractor coming to the house tomorrow to help dismantle the existing doors and hopefully install the new doors if we have the time. The goal is to get all the upstairs doors installed. We can do the first floor doors later in the weekend or during the week. And I still need to finish removing the wallpaper from Ian's room!!
